Halcyon Health clinical team delivering coordinated mental health care

Care rooted in expertise and compassion

Halcyon Health was founded to make specialist mental health care accessible to all Australians, without the barriers of distance or long waitlists.

Why we exist

Halcyon Health was established by Associate Professor Charana Perera to address a critical gap in Australian mental health care: the shortage of specialist psychiatric services outside major metropolitan centres. Through secure telehealth, we bring consultant-level care directly to patients, wherever they are.

Our integrated model combines psychiatry, psychology, and allied health services. Coordinated care between your treating clinicians means nothing is lost between appointments. We accept Medicare, NDIS (plan-managed and self-managed), WorkCover, and CTP, because funding pathways should not be a barrier to good care.
